Alice needs a new start to life and leave some memories behind including David. She leaves London and goes down to a cottage in the middle of nowhere. She misses city life but meets someone on holiday in Devon but he's gone in two weeks. Just when she thinks about giving up country life and going to stay with her mum, she meets someone in the last place she expected! She gets a new job and falls in love with her job and a man and she plans to live happily ever after but life can never be that simple right?

"Belle. I'm so sorry...," He said with sympathy. "Sure. Whatever," I managed before bursting into tears. He tried to hold me, to comfort me. I pulled away in disgust.
