They appeared when we least expected. The Passing of Moons had cast a shadow over everything in sight, and dark clouds fanned out like wings on the horizon, a terrifying winged beast seeking to devour the sun as it grew dim. When the darkness hit, and the clouds were illuminated with a dying red light, we swore there was a moment when the clouds seemed almost alive; eyes glowing like fiery coals.
We knew it was them by then. There was a wail, somewhere in the crowd, and panic settled in. There were cries, screams of terror, but the flames surrounded us before we had the chance to run. The fire had appeared out of nowhere and we could see nothing other than the light of the flame, our fear was drowned out by the crackling and spitting as the flames pursued us. One by one, we fell, swallowed away by the growing blaze. Only the air was frigid, and the fire was cold - ice cold. Freezing burns covered our ears and legs and flanks, and the drowning cries were accompanied by a sickening shatter of something that definitely wasn't ice.
Before we knew, we were dying. A painless, horrifying death, and we couldn't shake the thought that we had it all wrong. We weren't going to be rescued. There was no miracle, no shining hope within our midst. This was the end.
Who could save us now?

Destiny
In the beginning, there was nothing. Just a vast void of nothing. All consuming darkness. And then there was cold. Ice. The ice spread from the core of the earth to everything until the world was formed. And then there was heat. For a while there was war between heat and ice. They fought for dominion over the world. Ice was the first and believed it was to be in charge. Heat supported more life and believed it should be allowed to rule. Eventually, when both almost destroyed the world Ice had created, they decided to merge and rule together, to release both their powers over the world and create life. They did that and then they went to sleep, dormant in the village of Azarath, the village where the first witches were born. The village where it all began. ******************** "What am I? Threatened forest
PLEASE READ: this is a really really old book and now I write much better quality stories. I'm actually working on one! So please, I ask, do not read this book. I wrote it when I just couldn't write, but there is no way I'm gonna erase it or un publish it, don't ask why just go with da flow. A dead silence. Cats stared at each other as if the world had disappeared. The trees even seemed to pray silently as the dark warrior approached, three cats hanging limply from his jaws. The rustle of leaves, the scent of prey were the only indication that they were still alive in the forest. But the dark warrior stared at all the cats without flinching. Starclan itself would be powerless against this enemy of might. It laughed as he released the cats from his jaws, it smiled as it saw the frightened look on the cat's faces, it walked to the leader proudly, it's pawsteps shacking the forest.
