They appeared when we least expected. The Passing of Moons had cast a shadow over everything in sight, and dark clouds fanned out like wings on the horizon, a terrifying winged beast seeking to devour the sun as it grew dim. When the darkness hit, and the clouds were illuminated with a dying red light, we swore there was a moment when the clouds seemed almost alive; eyes glowing like fiery coals.

We knew it was them by then. There was a wail, somewhere in the crowd, and panic settled in. There were cries, screams of terror, but the flames surrounded us before we had the chance to run. The fire had appeared out of nowhere and we could see nothing other than the light of the flame, our fear was drowned out by the crackling and spitting as the flames pursued us. One by one, we fell, swallowed away by the growing blaze. Only the air was frigid, and the fire was cold - ice cold. Freezing burns covered our ears and legs and flanks, and the drowning cries were accompanied by a sickening shatter of something that definitely wasn't ice.

Before we knew, we were dying. A painless, horrifying death, and we couldn't shake the thought that we had it all wrong. We weren't going to be rescued. There was no miracle, no shining hope within our midst. This was the end.

Who could save us now?

A/N: Looking back at this story makes me vomit, ugh, terrible English and terrible story overall, read at your own risk :)) *A Chicago fire fanfiction* Spoilers, duh* *Dawsey* *PeterMillsstory* ~ "Jennie" I say. She doesn't move. She has the kind of desolate sobbing that comes from a person drained of all hope. She sink to her knees at the door, not caring for the cold dirty floor that's dirting her jeans. She sob into her hands and the tears drip between her fingers. I walk toward her and sit down, the floor is cold and so is she. I don't like when she's sad, Jennie is such a happy person and it always spread to others. "I should have gone there" She say. "It's my fault, I could have been there for him" She continue. I grab her hand, it's freezing. It could be of the cold wine she just drank, or the cold floor. But I think her body normally shut down when she get sad. At least mine does. "We both know that isn't true" I say. She squeeze my hand. She turn over to face me, I belive she's about to kiss me but instead she fall into my arms. The hug is a simple enough gesture - affection, perhaps the fragile beginnings of love. The arms that hold her is soft, yet strong. The feel of her body so close to his sooth me more than I had expected. But within seconds she pull away, "I'm sorry, this is all on me" She say. ~ Loving can hurt | "A story has no beginning or end: arbitrarily one chooses that moment of experience from which to look back or from which to look ahead" -Graham Greene

Every disaster that threatens a Clan means StarClan will come and save you. You'll receive a prophecy that will save everything you love. The peril is vanquished in a battle, and there is no need for sleeping with one eye open anymore. StarClan will forever watch over you from your nest and keep you safe. That is what has been passed down from generations. Not every tale has to end like that: StarClan saving everyone with the chosen cat, everyone loving the hero or heroine - but it always does. So facing a challenge such as missing cats shouldn't be a challenging task. Moons pass on, cats keep disappearing faster and faster; nobody is doing anything to prevent the case. Everyone is relying on StarClan to send the prophecy to their medicine cat, just hoping that one day, the fiasco will end. Yet that's not the way fear works its way into hearts. Warriors, once brave and strong, now cowering behind one another. Apprentices with their eagerness to learn, now afraid of the outside world and going missing. Queens, always caring for their kits, now fearful of losing them to the mystery. Elders, who are as wise as the deepest river, now unable to provide an answers. With leaf-bare creeping up, the Clans are preparing for the harsh weather. Preparing for another season should be like gathering moss for the elders, but not this time. This time, the Clans are struggling just to assemble a hunting patrol and maintain borders. Forcing time out of daily tasks is asking the impossible. Leaf-bare is going to take the remaining lives of the cats that are lucky enough to even make it through leaf-fall. A silent storm will sweep across them and leave no traces; they might as well prepare to die in the white flakes of leaf-bare, covered up by mounds of snow, lost and forgotten. {This is a rewrite of my story and just like before, copying isn't allowed} {This is also a work of fanfiction! I do not own Warrior Cats!}

Nothing could compare to the way her gaze made me feel. The flames licking my skin and the raging fire in my veins was way more bearable. The moment our eyes connected, it was like my body found a new kind of flame. The kind that only she was able to draw from me. I've never felt my body being set ablaze like this before. One day here in this new town and I was already losing my mind over my new neighbour. A really pretty, hot neighbour. Her long, wavy platinum blonde hair, pale skin and icy blue eyes that seemed to stare depths into my soul and keep me frozen in place. I couldn't seem to leave. Her pink lips were parted slightly as she tried to catch her breath. I swallowed. One step forward and I could hold her. One tilt of my head and I could kiss her lips. If only I could have a taste of those lips- I have to get out of here. I turned and left, my heart nearly overpowering my brain to stop and go back to her. Only one thought kept me going. Who could ever love a monster? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Hey guys! I'm back with a new story and I've had this idea in my head for quite some time and I'm glad to finally be posting it! Firstly, I got inspiration for this book from a Korean drama called "Goblin" and it's one of the best dramas I've come across after so long. Secondly, no reuploading or copying or plagiarising or whatever it is that is illegal because I will slice your neck and leave you hanging to die :) Jk, maybe. Not really. Thirdly, please enjoy this book and leave comments! Sincerely, Janice GoldShaken *Created, Published & Completed in Year 2017* (Editing Complete ~2018)

Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. For a shorter and more on-point description, look no further! I had something silly written up before throwing it out in exchange for that wall of text upstairs. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Anyway, it's quite lengthy, but hopefully enjoyable? Slide a comment if you want, I'll give you a tiny kiss on the forehead. Man, do I love comments. (Lastly, to point out, English is not my native language, but I don't think it'll be much of an issue ;3)

Optional sequel to Upon Wings Of Change. Tessa's Story: a version with *JUST* Tessa's POV (different from the original "Passing the Torch" version, which has 3 POVs, and is still available on my profile) Summary: The dragonets are flourishing; both those in the park and those helping the Kymari. As the first dragonets to hatch in the Kymari civilization, Tessa and her brother are paving a new path as they grow up and learn how to fit into the world. New beginnings are often great things, but sometimes shadows from the distant past come calling. (A slightly more polished version is also available on Amazon) Excerpt: I braced my feet against the wall as I pulled. Suddenly, the lever swung downward. I lost my grip and tumbled backward. I landed on my side and slid across the counter. My legs and tail flailed as I tried to get to my feet or slow down-but I didn't manage it in time. Almost in slow motion, my feet went off the counter as I slid into the air. Without thinking, my wings popped open and beat hard as I twisted, trying to turn right side up so I could fly properly. I blinked in shock when I realized I was already flying upward. Grinning triumphantly, I beat my wings again and went back to the counter. Pleased with my flying abilities, I proudly landed on the counter - and forgot to slow down, which promptly sent me sliding across the slippery surface, lightly colliding with the glass door. I ducked my head sheepishly, glad no one else had seen that. My eyes locked onto the gap between the glass doors. With an eager grin, I pressed my shoulder against the edge and pushed. My feet struggled to find traction, but it was opening! Once I pushed the door far enough, I scampered over to the cantaloupe. It was much bigger up close. I blinked slowly, trying to think about how I was going to move it. There was no way I'd be able to lift it. It was round though. Round things could roll, right? Updates every weekday!

"What the hell?" The book in my hands glowed, letting out a bright yellow light. I panicked, dropping the book to the floor and began to back up. But it was no use as a powerful force dragged me closer and closer to book, I let out a scream as I was then sucked in. "Hey, miss.." I heard a soft voice call, "Miss, please wake up. You can't sleep there, you'll catch a cold." I opened my eyes with a groan, my vision blurred for a moment. It soon cleared up and I was shocked when I saw a handsome young man with soft eyes standing directly over me. "Ahh!!" "Ahh!!" He shouted, backing up from me as I sat up. "Who- Who are you?" I looked around, noticing that I was no longer in my library at home. Instead, I was laying on soft, green lush grass in the middle of the forest. "Where am I?" I looked back at the young man, taken back by his handsomeness. His eyes softened for a moment, before widening and he opened his mouth. "Oh, my gosh!! The prophecy Came true!!!" "What prophecy?" "The Prophecy of Eurodipes. You are the one who Will save our world!" "huh?" Follow the adventure of a lifetime as a young girl is sucked into a mysterious book, which teleports her to a whole new world. There she will meet seven young men, all of whom claim that she is the one to save their world. #OT7 BTS Poly relationship x OC
