Before Lightnning, Snow, Sazh, Fang, Vanille, and Hope became l'Cie they were all enjoying the fireworks that were said to be 'wish granting fireworks'. After becoming l'Cie, in their journey they never knew that they were being watched by another I'Cle just like them. When they went to the 'New World' and the l'Cie still watches them. Eventually, they found out who this l'Cie is. This l'Cie ends up being friends with Lightning, Serah, Snow, Sazh, Fang, Vanille, Hope, Noel and Yeul. The new world is then in danger and it's up to them to safe it, but they're ordinary people now, but their new friend isn't. The l'Cie still has to complete their focus and save the world. They all team up to save the world, but they need to become l'Cie once more to get their powers, or do they?

Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.
