Lailah always knew she was odd, after all she was named after the angel of conception. But, according to her mom she was special. However, Lailah never knew how special. When she was born the sky and waters combined, but when she started crying everything stopped. Now, on her sixteenth birthday her parents died in an airplane crash and she was sent to live with her strongly Christian grandmother. That's when things get weird.
