After a mentally insane Australian eighteen year old girl, Maria Williams, supposedly kills her ex-boyfriend, Ross Green, things get hectic. Cops are looking for her, It's all over the news. So her dad, who is desperately trying to hide her, (telling everyone that she's not his daughter) sends her to live with her grandparents in America.
She's scared. Living in a new place with no one there that she knows, except for her grandparents. She's scared of what people will think of her. What if the people there know what she did, then what will happen?
A week after Ross's death, with her living in a new country and all, she starts noticing weird things. People coming up to her, saying they know her, addressing her as the wrong person, as they swear they've seen her before. Is it true that they've seen her or even another her walking around? Or are they just imagining things?
Hold on, did she even have a boyfriend named Ross. Could, someone else she knew with a boyfriend named Ross, be a possibility? Was it all a dream when she killed him, but not a dream for someone else? Maybe she witnessed his death but she wasn't the cause of it? She doesn't know. So, is it true? Could she possibly be innocent?
