Tae Smith is a normal senior at Westwood High with a semi-normal life. Things have always been simple for her. She's great at everything except for fitting in. She then gets her first crush EVER. So when she get called out in front of the school about it she goes to where she feels she belongs; the river, the calm, simple river. When she's there she talks to her dad, who passed when she was young. Then she hears a voice right next to her. She turn around and there's a boy, not her crush but a normal boy. They start talking, which Tae is not that used to. They lost track of time and we're talking for hours. They both said goodbye, Tae thought it was something special but is it?
