Mallory Jefferson is just an average 17 year old girl. Her boyfriend has just broken up with her, and she isn't ready for anything too high on the emotional scale just yet. She stays home from school the next day, to stay away from anything dramatic, which turns out to be an ironic choice. During a thunderstorm, the power goes out, and a very hot guy appears in her basement, seemingly out of nowhere. He claims to be from the past. The year 1954 to be exact. But how did he get here?
