Cruela met Craig Mabbitt over Instagram (not very reassuring, I know) and they instantly clicked. At the time she was fourteen and suffering from an abusive father and a fear of showing emotion. Five years later, on her eighteenth birthday, she left her home in Australia and flew to America, to live with her now best friend Craig and his band, Escape The Fate.
When Cruela meets and befriends the infamous Max Green, she discovers both the anger and ruthlessness of Ronnie Radke, and a cure to her emotionless state. But will Cruela accept the cure, or will she push it aside and continue to live a life free of emotion, in which she will never have to suffer the complications of love?
