Set in an alternate future where the government rules over all and those who don't follow the status quo are sent to a prison called the Camp to work hard labor, rumors of rebellion are quickly taking root. Nor has lived in a Citadel orphanage for thirteen years after she was separated from her family during the last rebellion against the government. Nor doesn't believe that the rebel's agenda is to liberate the people, but something far more sinister. Her suspicions are soon confirmed, and she is forced to flee for her life. On the run from the quickly approaching rebel army, Nor begins to search for the family that she lost long ago. Her journey will lead her into unexpected dangers, and even to an unexpected love. How to Become Godlike
The distant future. The war between androids and humanity has recently ended. The humans barely won, losing many technologies. A little time has passed, and a new threat has emerged. The emperor of one of the empires wants to enslave everyone, and the Republic of free planets is forced to enter the war. The Republic's scientists invent a new engine, but it needs a lot of gold. One of the ships of the free planets goes to a newly discovered, backward planet. It is inhabited by humans, but communication with other planets has long been lost, and the people have slipped into a feudal-slave system. The scientists on the ship can't directly show their presence because of the rules and decide to turn some crew members into gods so they can collect gold. But first, the scientists decide to organize a rebellion on the planet. The godlike have to face many difficulties.
