For Genesis, life is like eating grapefruit. First she has to break through the skin; then takes a couple of bites to get used to the taste, and just as she begins to enjoy it, it squirts her in the eye. Her life surpasses the life of Cinderella, with all the suffering and torture she's going through.
Every time Genesis sees her three sisters, she can't help but doubt if the same blood runs in their veins. They definitely don't look alike. But why, oh why? Do they make her feel like an outcast? Why do they have to be perfect all the time while she can't keep her hair intact? She is loved by her two sisters and that makes her happy. If only her younger sister stops being a witch, life can be better.
She hated looking in the mirror because all she can see is the image of a pitiful ugly duckling. At least Cinderella had the looks of a goddess. But, life seems not contented with her suffering. Out of the blue; a man, who is the complete definition of turmoil shows up. Can't he just leave her alone? But, sooner than later Genesis found out that this man can be really her knight in shining armor. And yes, she an ugly duckling can have the chance of a lifetime.
Finally, can she make it all turn around and become a swan?
