Ember Bella May. The most average girl in town. She was the good girl type, and every one in town adored her.

One sunny afternoon the sky went black; the wolves in the mountains howled, and a new fella was in town.

Ember was in her studio painting; when she heard three knocks at the door. Not expecting company she jumped up and answered.

"Hi there, can I help you?" I chirped.

Three extremely tall men, all the same size, were standing on her porch. They were dressed in black suits and wore dark glasses that hid their eyes. They had dark hair and were pale as ghost. Their faces were expressionless. 

Two stood shoulder to shoulder behind one who stood right in front of my face.

He looked at his phone then put it to his ear.

"Yes sir, it's definitely her." I heard the one front and center say sternly.

And then everything went black.
