In the not so distant future, The Lunar Base is an internationally owned facility placed on the moon. It is as much a home as a workplace for young astronomers and astronauts, and is quite literally a full time job in every sense of the phrase. The main research that is conducted at the TLB is on developing ways to transport manned spacecrafts great distances, and of course, all things astronomy. 
      
    25 year old astronautical engineer Ailey Dalgarno has been living and working at TLB for three years when TLB's ambassador Felix Corona is kidnapped by a before little-known terrorist group by the name of ARS. As the engineer who helped design the type of spacecraft Felix Corona is held captive in, Ailey feels compelled to save him at any cost.
    
    By saving Felix Corona, Ailey gains status and becomes regarded as a hero. But she is also pulled into the behind-the-scenes of TLB, and bit by bit she starts to understand what is really going on. And who is Felix Corona, really?All Rights Reserved

Being sent to the ground and not floated would have been the best chance for these kids to live a life not dictated by laws put in place to sustain life with limited resources on a space station if it weren't they didn't have to fight to live. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willa is just a teenager sent to the ground with 99 other kids. She is being held by of one of the many debt-recovery corporations. Held, for leverage, to make Ellie do the corporation a favour. Ellie’s daughter will be returned unharmed if Ellie does as they wish. The son of a company director is lost somewhere in the wilderness of post-debt-restructuring America, and hasn't been seen for three days. The company wants Ellie to go and find the kid, and Ellie doesn't know if she can. The one rule she's stuck to all her working life is to never to go to America, but now she might have to. She will have to, if she wants to save the daughter she hasn't seen in years. [WARNINGS: EXTRATERRESTRIAL BEING, MANIPULATION, MILD BETRAYAL, BITING/SCRATCHING, BLOOD, MILD VIOLENCE, POTENTIALLY HARMFUL RELATIONSHIP, TRICKERY, LYING/LIES, SUGGESTIVE SCENES, INNOCENTLY OBLIVIOUS SUGGESTIVE COMMENTS, ARROGANCE, SEPARATION, MILD SEPARATION ANXIETY] Lunar is going to be able to switch between his human form and animatronic form with magic like how it was in the christmas special. Almost the exact same concept with the guys but they stay in an apartment rather than moving to a bigger house, so they're living in a somewhat cramped apartment, mostly staying human in case something happens. . . Finding an extraterrestrial entity in your trash can is definitely something happening. The Y/n is going to be the wrongdoer conflicting most of the actions listed in the warnings above. But it is to be expected, they are an alien and don't understand a lot of things but also don't really care about it. They are curious but mostly focused on finding non-human entites and connecting with them for research. Which makes them not exactly interested in Lunar until they see what he really is, then they practically become obsessed with him and tries to figure out how he works by poking him, trying to listen to his mechanics inside of him, asking odd questions, etc. But the poor precious guy sees these as signs of interest and tries to be a good potential lover by doing a bunch of little jobs for them. Lunar also shows them a few earth things, treats and places as sort of various little dates, shows them a bunch of stuff because of their obsession with research, etc. only to end up being emotionally ignored by the oblivious Alien and left behind a couple times, which definitely gets to his feelers a lot :(

In the process of all she deals with the pain of new kinds of love and being able to trust people after so many years of distrust.
