Elmer

It was a very sunny, quiet afternoon, in Rockford, Wisconsin. The sun was shining, birds were singing and the slight breeze whistled through the trees. It was perfect. Unfortunately, not all things have the time to take all of this beauty in, for example, one little kitten in a house on Maple Dr had the smallest idea of how beautiful this day was. You may be thinking to yourself, how? Well this specific kitten was locked in a small basement with only one little light bulb swinging from the ceiling. Meet Elmer. Have you ever wanted something really bad, yet, you will probably never get it? Well everyone has at least one answer to this question. What Elmer wanted more than anything was to feel the wind brush against his furry face or feel the grass in his paws as he ran through a valley, free as he could be. But with his older brother, Domino and his younger sister, Ellie, plus the three people in the house it was impossible to do anything sneaky without getting caught. Now if you are wondering why Elmer is in the basement of his two storied house, I will tell you that too. Elmers family was moving. Little did Elmer know but this would be the biggest and most important move of his life. During this big move of the Brinks family, Elmer will tell you this story from beginning to end.
