Now, he has moved to California, and to a new school. After just a few days, a strange occurrence happens at his school, and a monstrous being appears, attempting to kill him. Allen kills it, however, and is rescued by a team of mutant fighters who accept him as one of their own. He becomes a superhero, fighting for justice and for the world. He becomes Horizon.
