Olivia is 16 years old. For 5 years she's been in and out of Foster homes,and since just the 8th grade she's been in 6 new schools. She feels like no one in the world understands her-and that she has no one to truly love. Her sister,7 year old Rebecca was adopted by another family. Her mom ran off when her sister was born,and her dad is an abusive alcoholic that doesn't care what is to come of her. She is at constant battle with herself,and the world around her. At her new Foster home-she expects it all to be the same. She doesn't know that these will be the people that actually love her like she's a real kid,and accept her like she really is.
