The plan was easy. All I had to do was pretend to be their friend so I could keep the five boys from getting hurt. Just pretend to care for them and act like I lowered my walls. This isn't some fun little adventure where I learn life lessons and ride off into the sunset with a big heroic grin. Nah. This is the kind of story where things catch fire for no reason, mysterious people talk in riddles, and I end up in places that probably don't exist on Google Maps. There are monsters. Probably. Secrets? Definitely. And me? I'm just trying to stay alive long enough to figure out what the hell is going on.
