After failing for the one hundredth and twentieth time to convince her mother to accept the fact that she's Goth, twenty year old Henrietta Bridges, after going through one of her rage moment, discovers a one eyed black cat in a box her mother stowed away many years ago. As Henrietta grows closer and closer to the cat, so does the tension between her and her mother. Meanwhile, her brother, Stan, slowly unravels a secret that even his own sister doesn't know about.
