~ I'd say that my life is pretty good. I live in Inkopolis Plaza, a place with several stores on the side, with a big, green Eiffel Tower in the middle, and a news broadcast building on the other side. I've got an amazing team for Turf Wars, I have the bestest friend ever, and I have my own house. Life is pretty good. Or so I thought. On my 14th birthday, I was so happy! I not only was allowed to play Turf Wars, but I could now turn from an inkling into a squid whenever I wanted! It was the best day of my life. Now, when my sixteenth birthday was coming up, I only expected it to be better. I mean, sweet sixteen, right? That was the day that I met him.... ~

You had been attending the same school for over 15 years, obviously because you were born in the small town in North Carolina. You were living a pretty normal life, till all of the abductions started happening in 1977. But lets go back a bit. Lets go back to the year 1976. You had been on a night shift on November 18th, 1976. There were many more people than your previous shift. Really the only people there were dropouts, druggies, drug dealers, freaks, and alcoholics. All around the ages 14-22. Everybody was pretty chill with eachother, except for a few people, but that was just the minority. Snap out of it." you ringed him up after he asked you for a pack of camels, and then looked at a familiar guy playing pinball. The same blonde that got over 100,000 his last time he came. Everybody started hyping him up, so he's trying to beat 100,000. You remember the mess you had to clean up after some kid accidently knocked over a bunch of beer. You like to not think about how it ruined your favorite pair of shoes. He messed up again, and kicked the machine. You yelled out to him "That thing costs money you know." then he looked at you. His face almost looked angelic. But he had been the jerk of your highschool, so he couldn't be that angelic. He looked away and picked at his pockets. He pulled out nothing. He started walking up to you and started asking for a dime. "Come on, I feed you guys this money all the damn time. Plus you will just get it back." "Then maybe don't waste all your money on pinball. We've gained around $200 with you coming here almost everyday. Thanks for that." and then you smiled while picking up your book. He looked at you in anger, then you looked back up at him. I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! Reader is female in this book! (Sorry to you guys...i might make a gender bend? Idk) THIS IS A STORY! YES A STORY!! Yaaay!~ Anyway uh Y/n = Your name Blah blah blah... Y/n isn't like most inklings. She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer?
