That was the voice that Elaina and her older sister Katrina heard from their small "room" in the basement.

Elaina and her older sister Katrina used to have a normal life, a happy family, and a caring environment.  Everything changed when the Blood Creek pack attacked and slaughter her entire pack.  The only two who survived where Elaina and her older sister Katrina but they didn't get far.  Only hours later they were found and taken back to the Blood Creek packs Alpha who decided to keep them as his own personal slaves.
