When Macy met Alex, she thought he was perfectly normal. But guess what? He's nothing close to that. In fact, he's dead, and has been for god knows how long. And when Macy gets sent to live with her great-aunt Celia in a rural Canadian farmland for supposed hallucinations, she doesn't expect to see Alex's exact replica as her next-door-neighbor.
