"Light is life
For without light,
There is not heat.
And without heat,
there is not warmth.
And without warmth,
The world is cold, desolate.
And when the world is cold,
There is not life.
Or if there is,
It is twisted, dark, and
Would be better off
If there was not life at all."

---------------------------------------------------

It is 2075.

The world is a broken, hollow shell of what it once was. Previously green, blue, bright, brilliant, beautiful, it is now ruined.

Africa and the rest of the equator is sweltering,
due to global warming, and is completely uninhabitable. The seas are poisoned, and food, water, and other supplies are heavily rationed. The nine-billion strong population of this world is stuffed into overpopulated cities in the few inhabitable areas, and everyone has to wear a choke-mask when outdoors to protect from pollution.

Enter Callista, a teenage girl who lives in this rotting world.

What is her job? Well, even she doesn't know just yet. But someone does, and is determined to...recruit her?
