27 years have passed since the Nightfall Incident occurred which resulted in the obliteration of 70%  Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) fleet. The incident is caused by the humanoid that carry the same power as the warship but more versatile and agile than ordinary warship. Human that encountered these humanoid named them as The Abyssal. Although the victory is almost achieved by The Abyssal but for unknown reason, they went missing. Now, they are back to seek ultimate victory. But this time the ray of hope emerged, in the form of fleet girls. These girls are the reincarnation of the Imperial Japanese Navy warships during World War II. With the power that allow them to fight on the same ground against The Abyssal, they face the challenge as the humanity last hope.

This is the story of Murakumo Yanagizawa, an ordinary (or no) highschool student...and also the reincarnation of Fubuki class destroyer, Murakumo.All Rights Reserved

They pushed away humanity from the high seas. Humanity formed an alliance called Azur Lane. The alliance consisted of all the major countries that fought each other during the second world war. Azur Lane was able to repulse the Sirens and brought back peace in the planet. At this point all of the ship girls returned to their normal state. Some went back to the very waters where they were sunk. Others became ship museums. The ones turned into museums were considered the lucky ones. But not for Enterprise. Her scrapping is inevitable. The fight for her to be turned into a ship museum failed. And majority of her steel was used to build USS Enterprise (CVN-65). But somehow her ship girl form suddenly resurfaces in a time when a ninth ship bearing her name has been successfully built and launched. She will also meet her daughter who was made from majority of her steel. Once again the Sirens threatened humanity in the present time. The ship girls from the past have been recalled back into action. Many of the nations thought that Enterprise will never be seen again. That was until she's seen serving as a member of the US Secret Service under a new name and identity. Will she go back to her original duties or will she remain working for the Secret Service?
