It Meant Family

The butterfly effect; the idea that the smallest thing has the power to change the course of history. Even something as insignificant as timing, as simple as a sentence, a piece of information. The knowledge that Peter Pettigrew had been James and Lily's secret keeper shared at a different moment could turn the life of Harry James Potter into an entirely different story. With Sirius Black never sent to Askaban and Remus Lupin not being left utterly alone, the Boy Who Lived is raised by his godfathers instead of his muggle Aunt and Uncle. As much as these characters and universe belong to her I do not support J.K.R nor her transphobia. This is also an opportunity for me, as a trans individual, to reclaim this story and emphasize its message of love, diversity and acceptance away from the author's distorted vision of equality.
