Kaname nodded and set the platter in front of the General, she lifted the lid, resisting the urge to wince as the head of a dead blonde, girl, neatly severed and fresh sat on the platter her hair was cut short as it was unappetizing and a custom for head eaters.
Kaname reached into her apron and pulled out the cutlery, dissecting tools, for the General, her left eye twitched as it caught sight of the line in which the girl's head was cut so that the top could be lifted to reveal the brain.

Prologue Finally placing her twins down for bed, Princess Ayumu walked back downstairs to the kitchen to finished up cleaning up the mess the twins made during dinner. Her two sons, Aoi and Kamin both went to her brother's home for a sleepover, hanging out with their cousins for the night. Her eldest child and daughter, Kia, went out in the backyard right after dinner to train with her father, Princess Ayumu's husband, Kakashi. After an hour of tidying up, Princess Ayumu's eye flickered to gold. 'Two people were fighting. In the dark. Couldn't sense or see whom exactly but can tell one unidentified person had the upper hand. Blows after blows from the unidentified person, sent the other flying. Princess Ayumu could hear bones breaking and the sound of blood gushing. She winced. The weaker person on the ground, under a streetlamp light. Princess Ayumu walked closer to get a second look at the person. She freezes. The person looks at the unidentified person, dressed in all black, covered from head to toe. "Who are you?" The person on the ground asked, coughing out blood and breathing heavily. The unidentified person didn't say anything to him. A sliver blade with engraved cherry blossoms and vines emerges from the unidentified person. "I'm the last person you're ever going to see. Sleep tight." 'It's a female.' The Princess thought, eyes wide. The unidentified female swings her blade and off the head goes. Princess Ayumu stands there with tears in her eyes. 'No.' 'At the end of the vision, Princess Ayumu's forehead was covered in sweat. "Mom?" Princess Ayumu snapped out of her mind, turned her head to see her daughter and her husband standing at the entrance of the kitchen. Kakashi had a serious and worried look on his face for he knows that look. "Honey, what's wrong?" Kakashi asked softly. Princess Ayumu gave her husband a knowing look, look at her daughter and back at her husband. "We need to send a message to Akari, ASAP!"

He paused, shifting positions slightly. "I have no idea why, but you really are my whole world, Zashi. I just met you, so I don't get it. I don't know why I care about you so damn much." Hizashi cupped Shouta's face in his hands, comforting him while he spoke. "Is that what love is?" He asked, inching closer to Hizashi and putting his own arm around him and hugging him tightly. "Sounds like it to me." Hizashi whispered, hugging him back. *If you really loved him, would you be lying to him about who you are? Even though you know what'll happen if you're found out? He wouldn't love you. You'll only hurt him.* ●○°•♡•°○● ●○°•♡•°○● ●○°•♡•°○● This story is loosely based on the song Oh Ana by Mother Mother! "Kakashi-san..." She replied as tears were starting to form her eyes. "Is he alright?" She stared at him with a grave look on her face. She just really wanted to know. "He's...." He cleared his throat. Kana swallowed the lump in her throat; her heart was pounding so hard and so fast inside her chest, she felt like it could burst out any moment now. She couldn't breathe properly like as if there was something blocking her lungs from getting any air and her whole body started to shake. Please be alright...please be alright....She pleaded inwardly. "Kakashi is....dead." He said with a sad sigh at the last word. Kakashi Hatake already knows from the beginning that when you're a ninja you should never let your emotions affect the mission. Who could have imagined that just one ordinary B-class mission could change that all with the most unexpected person? When they were just going to escort Kana Hitomi, the princess of the land of mountains, to the land of hills, tables are turned and the unexpected happens; they become stranded in an uncharted island. "How could I even rule the land of the mountains, if I, myself, couldn't even climb and conquer the mountains I face every day?" -Kana Hitomi.
