Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished.

A hundred years have passed and nothing has changed in the world. The Avatar is missing still, and all hope for peace is almost extinct. The water tribes are separate, the Southern one almost gone. The Earth Kingdom is riddled with Fire Nation colonies, and the Air Temples are now desolate of life.

It is now, that the spirits decide to help the humans. By sending one of their own out into the real world, the spirits hope that peace shall return to both worlds.

5 years after the end of the 100 year war and the defeat of Lord Ozai, Fire Lord Zuko and Avatar Aang have succeeded in producing a plan for the new Republic City, that will become a safe haven for immigrants from all nations that have been displaced by the war. When Zuko receives reports of a group of four bandits stealing from the construction site he calls the Gaang back together to figure out their plan. However, Aang is distracted by one key point in the case: there appears to be an airbender on the team of bandits...is he no longer "The Last Airbender?" We all know and love the story of Avatar the last Airbender, but what if things were a little different? What if Prince Zuko was the Avatar? This simple question throws the entire Avatar world for a spin. Let's start with a summary shall we? With the disappearance of the avatar after the death of Avatar Roku, the world watched in horror as 3 more fell after him. The airbenders were all wiped out and so went the air nomad avatar. The southern water tribe had all of its benders taken and killed, along with the avatar of water. The earth kingdom has been sacked for decades by an onslaught of firebenders. On the battlefield, the firelord himself slew the avatar in vicious combat. Now the world has all but lost hope as a new Avatar has yet to be discovered anywhere in the world. Many believe that the cycle has ended, others believe that there was no Avatar. A new one would rise from the unlikeliest place possible, from the throne room of the firelord himself.
