Living in the Grave

The white silk of my dress fluttered behind me as I sprinted through the hallway. I could here people running behind me, trying to catch me, but I knew they can't with the extra help I'm receiving. I ran up staircases, I had no idea where I was going but I still pushed on.

"Stop her!" Bones yelled. I felt another burst of energy go through my body and I ran even faster. My black hair came undone from the delicate twists that wrapped around my head and was flying wildly behind me. After two more staircases I spotted a door and burst through it.

It was pouring outside and lightning flashed. I stopped at the edge of the building and looked to the ground. The drop must have been over 200 feet but I had to risk it and trust my instincts. Without looking back, I took five steps back and did a running leap off the castle.

Alaina Nightwish has been captured by the Blue Moon pack and is being forced to make weapons and armor that is going to be used against her own pack. She fears of what may become of her pack and mate when the Blue Moon pack attacks. On top of all that she is currently sharing a body with the soul of her dead triplet brother Chase Nightwish, who is the one forcing her to do these things under the command of Alpha Bones. Chase wants revenge for what she did to him and is ready to make her do anything, even kill her own mate.

Aspen Cline has been in a fury ever since his mate Alaina got captured by his so-called 'father'. He's been preparing his warriors for war but he knows that it won't be enough with the opposing pack having weapons and armor made from shadows. His best hope for winning the war is to get Alaina back but he doesn't even know how to do that when she's is locked away in one of the most protected pack palaces in the world. Above all that he knows something is not right with the Blue Moon wolves spiritually, and that is what frightens him the most.
