After a tragic accident changes life as she knew before, she's forced to move across the country to live with her fashion designing Aunt Sophie. Sophie has a son, named Daniel, who has despised Lacey for over 10 years, and no one knows why. Lacey has issues of her own, between self-harm and her depression, life gets pretty confusing for this young girl. That is, until she meets mysterious Darrin.
