Ashlynn Holliday, a loose cannon with a history of drugs, alcohol abuse, and having more boyfriends than she does common sense. Kudo Takashi, a straight edge and no nonsense student council member at Matsushiro High School, Nagano. When Ashlynn’s parents arrange for a year-long homestay in Nagano after she was involved in a near-fatal accident, with hopes of her homestay parents’ strict and traditional values shedding some light onto her, Ashlynn is none too pleased. With a stubborn streak and a tendency to rebel, her sole intention is to corrupt all those she meets, in hopes her homestay parents finally tire of her antics and send her home to America. But when her path crosses with Takashi’s, Ashlynn soon begins to realise that her mission won’t be as easy as she’d first hoped. But she always liked a challenge.
