Over the year young Elizabeth wonders what happened to her mom and her dad. On her daily quest to find food, Elizabeth meets Johnny who has been in love with her for the past 3 years. Johnny escapes from his house to adventure with Elizabeth who's only mission is to find what happened to her father. And secretly she wants to know why her mother abandoned her. Their only clue to finding the truth is the locket that Elizabeth found in her mothers room. In the small Ohio town of Oakwood, they find twins Brooke and hunter. They adopt the two kids and you will never guess who they really are. Or what they have.
