Some time in the distant future, a devastating war plagues earth. Named Ww3 by many, hope seems all but lost for the side England chose to defend. It's too late to take a different side now, and as a last resort the Metal Poppy movement was made. Most of England's troops were captured and taken to a new version of concentration camps, and if England could contact them, it might be the second chance needed to win.
Meet April. Her family are refugees, fleeing the war zone their home has become. As Scotland and the north of England is claimed by battle, they pack their bags and run, heading to London as their last hope for safety.
But when her father and two brothers are recruited for the fight, and it's just April and her mother, can they continue their journey? There seems to be nowhere for them to run, until the Metal Poppy movement is introduced. As a last resort, April volunteers to become a Metal Poppy. But children shouldn't play with guns.
A sort of tribute to the world wars.

Dogday x GN reader you were a worker, specifically you watched the orphans meaning you didn't have much insight as to what happened within the walls of your workplace. after getting a job oppurtunity you leave your job luckily before the "hour of joy" takes place (you dont know this had happened). seeing that your old workplace had been abandoned you check it out once more maybe you'll find something? whatever you were hoping for in this journy it isn't what you had expected. ----- story will start with chapter 3 opening!! past chapters had already been events in the story. dogday was also a worker before being turned into a toy (an event you didnt know about also) to help out with kids. you remeber him and the other Smilying Critters when they came to help with children.(this is how you'll remeber dogday). ----- Dogday is an adult in this book as for the theories he was once an employee and for his voice in the game being one of an adult male: IF later on in the PPT franchise its revealed dogday is indeed a child i will take this book down and NEVER mention it again. Dog Toy: A Poppy Playtime Fanfic
The first thing you notice is the torso with the bloodied, fleshy severance. Then the strung-up arms. Then the hanging head of something, someone, that looks so familiar. A dog, so similar to the other anthropomorphic characters... It comes to you, finally catching the name of this toy: Dogday. What the hell is he doing here? --- I've been so obsessed with the Smiling Critters since seeing Poppy Playtime Chapter 3, especially the one character who deserved better.
