Just after sunset a rickety boat pushes off from the harbor and floats silently into the night. It carries with it a heavy load of bruised, battered and utterly terrified survivors of a lethal plague. A woman traveling with only a young child bundled on her lap, quietly observes and weighs her options. A month ago she was baking cakes and paying bills. A month ago she never would have thought herself capable of killing anyone. Welcome to the rise of Zombie Apocalypse, where you never know what you are capable of doing to survive, down to the very last breath.

The Horde
The zombie apocalypse started in April. Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce. She was 15 years old when it began. Now, she was turning 17 and nothing had gotten better. If anything, everything had become harder. Human extinction was inevitable and the probability of surviving wasn't just slightly possible, it was impossible. Especially when she's alone. The End is Near

She faces unimaginable threats and has to learn to face her fears, or die at the hands of them. She faces many things and find some things. She faces death and sadness, faces the unthinkable. And she finds real friendship and even love. Is it possible to love in the apocalypse? She'll just have to find out. She learns of what the government did and that they are looking for her, and she runs, trying to keep her and her friends alive. But there's only so much one girl can do. Will she find somewhere safe to hide from the government? Or will the government finally catch her? Will she fall to the world of the undead? Will her love survive the apocalypse?
