The rust colored sand packed into a canyon laid at my feet as I attempted to find my escape. The thick labyrinth of crumbling rock sprawled around me, I looked behind me, the wind whipped my hair back and I was met with more canyons that reach so high into the sky that it seemed to rip it open. Vivid colors spilling out to dance among the clouds. But beside the almost painful beauty of it all, all I could think was 'get out' _______________________________________________________________________ Ivy has always wondered why no one ever goes past the town of Lawrence, so she and her brother Blaise decide to check it out. The trees seemed to bend towards me. The farther I went, the darker the world seemed to get. The color also seemed to dim as I ran. But I didn't pay much attention to that. I finally came to a large clearing, near the center was an hourglass, it was made out of diamond. I walked up to it. It was so thick I could barley see inside, although I did see something inside. I reached out and touched the diamond, it seemed to melt away leaving glass. I then spotted a man about my age throwing fire at the walls. I screamed. Then I woke up. It was just a dream, right?
