Hope, Love, Mercy. All things that don't exist in this world..or at least that's what we're told. All things everyone around me has given up on believing. And apparently, I'm the only one who hasn't. Me, the girl who has nothing and everything to live for.

She is the kind of girl who helps you, no matter who you are. The girl who actually treats people the way she wants to be treated, the girl who can't go a day without smiling, no matter her situation. The girl who has lost hope several times, and found it again on her loneliest nights. The girl with big dreams and manners, who still loves Disney with all her heart. The girl who's not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.

But despite all that, she is forced to live the 'hood' life, the 'thug-rat' life, the life society is used to seeing African American girls live.

And even in this sad, sad, world....there are still such thing as miracles.
