He slowly took a step forward, causing me to lean against the wall. He was so close that I could see the light stubble growing on his face. 

"Mr-Mr Wright?" I tried to avert my eyes, tried being the keyword. 

He placed his hands on the wall, caging me in. And truth to be told, I did feel like a prey. 

"I told you to call me Avel." His breath fanned my face and I gulped. "Break up with Luca." 

Wait, what? 

"You're my boss Avel. You can't ask me to break up with my boyfriend." I finally got the courage to whisper this. 

"Break up with him, Nova."

"Why?" I finally looked away from his eyes. "Why should I? Why? Give me a reason Avel?" I whispered. 

He clenched his jaw and moved away from me. Before I knew it, he slammed the door and disappeared.
