When 16 year old Gloria Kate's mom decides that she's in love with punk rocker Billie Joe Armstrong 6 years after Gloria's biological dad dies, she is destined to make sure Billie leaves.

For good.

But when Gloria's house gets "infiltrated by the spawns of Satan himself", the only one she can turn to is her best friend and partner in crime, Christian.  

After a couple months of everything being okay, Gloria finds some unexpected news that changes her outlook on everyone in her family.

Including herself.

While Gloria's battling the riots at home and at her own school, she's still trying to maintain her relationship with Christian without letting anyone see she's on the verge of breaking.

Will she ever make it through? 

After all, this is her 21st Century Breakdown.
