The Fight for Rights

It's 2245 and LGBTQ+ rights have diminished to almost nothing. Human societies have resorted to killing their citizens that have come out. But they have become a lot more creative. They are using it as entertainment.
20 LGBTQ+ people, from all around the world that have come out (not caring about age), are placed into a house where they are to create relationships. And the people at home vote on who they want to kill each week. The audiences watch as the people create relationships/friendships, but do not care for their well-being.
In about 5 months, the show will be over and each person will have died. But, how will those people show how they have come about? And how will they know that they are making a difference?
