In the country of Kanta, Clara is known as an Ignorant. Citizens of this isolated country are implanted with Clocks at birth. These Clocks are a countdown to when the owner will meet their soulmate. Ignorants are the slang for the small percentage who choose not to know by covering their Clocks. But lately, President Eagle, the dictatorial leader of Kanta, has been enforcing new laws that restrict the doings of Ignorants. Clara's docile nature is fading fast. An outcast from the start, but now she's treated like she's a disease, and terrified of the new measures that will be taken for Ignorants.
