The Chosen Ones is a novel inspired by the NYT #1 Bestseller, The Selection. My favorite series of books has encouraged me to write this novel with events and common concepts to The Selection series. Anika and William had been friends since the age of four. The only problem between their friendship is the fact that William is a prince - the prince, of Ódea. For two years they had an inseparable and secret friendship, until William was forbidden to see the outside world because of danger the rebels brought and the the harsh pressure from his father. In twelve years Anika and William grew in two completely different worlds. Anika was randomly picked along with 47 other women from every province in Ódea to compete for the prince's hand. Although she had no interest to go into a fierce competition with 47 other girls, Anika was forced to go. She dreaded the day she would meet the prince. Perhaps she could find a way to leave the competition and the disagreeable ways of the prince. As Anika excels in The Choosing, she restarts her relationship with William, realizing he isn't half as bad as the person she believed him to be.All Rights Reserved
