Part-time magical boy Dan Howell discovers that protecting the school from evil mascots is nothing compared to the struggles of everyday life as a teenager. Between making sure that his best friend isn't part of some cereal cult, managing new friends, and having an existential crisis every few days, Dan finds it easy to distract himself. But that doesn't mean Phil doesn't notice, so sometimes bits of the truth seep through the cracks. Maybe there's a chance for Dan just yet.

Dan Howell had been at a Catholic school all of his life. He ate, breathed and lived as a good Christian boy should. However, it didn't fit him, he didn't feel right promising himself to a God he didn't fully believe in. With countless rules Dan wasn't sure he could live his life to eternally, he starts to wonder if this life is his, or his parents. Suddenly, as he begins to doubt everything he's ever been taught, a reformer is brought to St Patricia's, somebody who has the power to change everything; as cliche as it sounds. Dan begins to feel things he ought not to as a good Christian boy, but not every rule is okay to be broken. [Aight so I've read 89574934935 phanfics since Christmas so I'm gonna give this a go] Fairies are good sprites. Faeries are evil sprites. When Dan meets Phil, a raven-haired boy claiming he's hopelessly lost in the woods, he can't tell if Phil is really human. Dan's seen every neck of this wood, and along with the trees come sprites - some good, some evil. Some sprites just like playing tricks on humans, some like to play with them, but others, specifically the faeries, try to make humans fall in love with them. Once they've got someone under their spell, they'll leave them with a broken heart - and some broken bones. So, Dan is hesitant to fall in love with the mysterious blue-eyed boy he finds in the wood. But when he does, his love is faced with the ultimate task: would he risk his own life to save Dan's?Complete
