Daydream

We're sitting in class, I'm in the desk right next to you.
I couldn't help but think my wish came true.
The lesson goes on, I'm struggling to pay attention.
I keep wanting to sneak a peek in your direction.
The teacher then utters the words I hate to hear
"Class, you now need to find partner and work as a pair"
I sit there glum, I got no friends in this class.
I remember who's tv next to me but I'm too afraid to ask.
My face is in a frown, keeping my head down, but I get a tap on my shoulder, so I turn around. 8
Oh my gosh it's him, he touched me with his fingers!
I reached to grab my arm cuz the feeling still lingered.
I say hey, he says what's up and I told him I was fine.
He said "if you don't have a partner are you willing to be mine?"
Time stopped as my jaw dropped to his question
Lord father above thank you for this blessing.
Yeah sure whatever it's okay with me
He smiles and I die a little but he can't see.
We're so close but we haven't talked one bit.
