"It is indeed", he whispered, "for now".
"It is fascinating", she leaned closer.
"There is the sporadic moment where the truth is more intriguing than the lie," he leaned closer.
"Tell me more", she leaned away.
"What more do you want to know?", he leaned away.
She smiled.
he smiled.
She laid down, "everything,".
He got up, "everything it is then,".
Strangely enough, sometimes the only people you can talk to are strangers.
Far from family, commitment, love, and things maybe better left unsaid, free from the vestiges of life, two people live life like zealots chasing an unmentionable. Or maybe running from an inevitable.
NOT A LOVE STORY. NOT A SOB STORY.
Maybe this is just a story of two ordinary regulars who become extraordinary losers when they're together. Or maybe this is all just a lie. Maybe this is all an elaborate scheme of life like any other scheme in life.

I will say that I intend to rewrite this at some point to send a better message, as I feel some of the actions in this book are unhealthy reactions to depression, that I have a much better perspective of now) [I'm also working on a VN based on this story.... I Liked Blue Better
[OLD] [NOT MEANT TO ROMANTICIZE DEPRESSION OR MENTAL ILLNESS. SIMPLY A TROPE.] Tom isn't your average teen. But then again, what makes a teen average? His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way. It was better to not disturb anyone, to wear the same clothes over and over, and to stay boring. All, of course, until Tom met him. Updates every Friday. Maybe more days if I'm not busy or I'm motivated to do so. ⚠️ TW ⚠️ -boyxboy (shouldn't be a warning smh) -suicidal thoughts -self harm (cutting, etc) -no smut, probably fluff though -throwing up I didn't take the photo in the cover. I only added the text. This story does have a happy ending, because I also realized how much of an impact reading angst stories without one has on me. "Don't you see now why we can't be together?" I whispered at the crazy boy in front of me. "Aren't you repulsed by me? Disgusted? Dis interested? Can't you just tear my heart out and leave like any other normal teenage boy?" My voice cracked. He simply shook his head. "Sweetheart, I thought I made it clear from the first time I said it," He paused, "I. Like. You." He emphasized every word, and I gaped at him. "Hell of a lot, actually, so it'd be great if you stopped being salty and liked me back." "Don't you get it?"
