An alternate reality Earth where the dominate species is not man, but a race of powerful  Anthro creatures that resemble canines and felines in habits, diet, instincts,  fur color, but reflect the ancient Romans in their war-faring society.  A race of creatures who not only snatched the place of dominance  away from humans, but they also enslaved them. These creatures, known as Azaras, now rule planet Earth. 

Meet Lir, a swift footed 17 year old who actually gets along very well with Azaras and their four legged counter parts, Azaroths. There's just one small problem. 

He's been framed... for the murder of two young Azaras. The Laws are very clear on the punishment for a human who murders an Azara or Azaroth. 
DEATH.

Can Lir find the true killer with the help of his faithful friends and unmask the cruel master mind behind the plot, or will evil win this fight.
