Nicholas and Cecilia hate each other, but the fact is they used to be best friends. Their parents were best friends when they were younger, and they still are now. Except both of their fathers died together when they were 10. The death never made their relationship go sour, no. It was in 7th grade when Cece entered the school's play, chorus, and band; which labeled her the school's looser. The rumors, and name calling, and bullying surrounded Cece, and Nick had no choice but to join in. The "populars" adopted Nick, and he finally became one of them. Joe now basically owns Westbrook High School; he is the predator, and everyone else is his prey. This is the story of The Jock and the Perfectionist.
