Hans, The Prince of the West was forced to marry Mai, The Princess of the East. It was a marriage agreement that cost the relationship between the two continents if it was to be broken. Hans decided to uphold the fate thrown upon him while trying to suppress the deep hatred he had for Mai and her country.
Mai on the other hand, felt delighted with the setting. She had always been curious about the Western culture. But to marry a western prince was a feat she imagined was impossible to achieve, until the Western King himself gave her the offer.
Her brother, the Eastern Emperor was not thrilled at all by the news, despite so, he thought about the importance of the arrangement and how it would positively affect the East.
He had no choice but to agree.
Though he would not hesitate to declare war if Hans were to hurt Mai.
Mai did not know anything about the harsh reality of the West.
