Adelaine is an 18 year old girl in a broken home just trying to make it to graduation. She stopped believing in love after her mother's third failed marriage, each man seemingly worse than the last. She spent her mornings at school, her afternoons at work, and her nights taking care of her alcoholic mother. She didn't know what she wanted to do or where she wanted to go, she was only sure that it wasn't here.
