This is a story that takes place in my own fantasy world I have been working to create for many years.
I began creating the world of Sythrian when I was only 16 years old. I have always been a huge fan of tabletop games like Pathfinder and Dungeons and Dragons, and I wanted to create my very own world to use within these types of games.
Recently, I have started DMing a game of Pathfinder using my world. This story will be written in increments after each gaming session, and will provide the reader with more in depth descriptions of the world of Sythrian.
Please feel free to leave comments and constructive criticisms on any part of my work. I am open to suggestions, and would love to hear what everyone thinks.

A RANGER IS BORN
First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did.
