'Humans are just like flowers. They wilt if they are abandoned, but they grow into such wonderful things if they're raised with love. Flowers don't bloom in an instant; it takes patience... patience.'

He thought his year was going to be an uneventful one. He thought he was going to be 'just another face' in the crowd. He thought it was all going to be easy. Well, he thought wrong--life was never easy after all, and it sure was going all-out on him.

The world of, "Bleeding Until Flowers Bloom" takes place in New York, USA. All places, events, and characters have no relation, however, to reality. Any similarities between the book and the real world is purely coincidental, and has no further ulterior meanings behind it. All places mention in the book is fake, and all events mentioned is fiction. Florian Orion, a male, 18 year old poetry enthusiast is in his final year in Serendipity High School. He's been gay his whole life, but living in the judgmental urban city of New York City has forced him to keep his sexuality to himself. Azalea Qivanna, also a male besides having a more feminine name, is almost a duplicate of Florian. Same age, same interests, even the same secret sexuality. However, what sets him apart from Florian, is that he has a reputation to keep. Serendipity High School is a prestigious high school that revolves around reputation and titles. Few have entered through just intelligence, among the few is Florian. Graduating from Serendipity is a key factor in order to enroll for an even more prestigious university, Eden's Garden University. What's even more nail biting is that the university will only take 30 students out of the 4,000+ graduates of Serendipity. As Florian begins his journey through the final year of Serendipity, he slowly realizes that his lack of reputation will maim him in the journey of getting into the college. The students fight dirty with money, status, and everything else you can name. This isn't your ordinary love story, this is a story of betrayal, twists, and events that will make you unsure of everything you have read up until then is even true. TRIGGER WARNING: Homophobia, graphic descriptions, unconsensual "love", and some explicit scenes depending on what's your definition of them. To put it simply, this is NOT for the faint of heart. FYI: Please comment any critique or thoughts as it makes me feel validated and seen! Thanks for reading <3

#1 Dystopian | #1 Survival | #3 Romance Abandoned by her mother in the midst of a war, Olya is caught in the throes of an uprising and captured by an enemy soldier. Only he won't tell her where he is taking her, because according to his people's laws he cannot look at, speak to, or touch a woman. || My eyes rolled open with a click, like the cocking of a gun--armed, dangerous--and for a brief and merciful moment, I remembered nothing. It took long seconds for the ceiling above to shift into focus-flat and smooth, a panel of shiny steel, almost like a mirror but warped. A distorted reflection gazed back at me, a ghostly white girl in dark clothing, colorless eyes and snowflakes for lashes. Had I always looked like that? Long hair and eyes wild? More of an animal than a girl? I supposed I had. ★✩★ ACHERON AWARDS|1ST PLACE| SOUL AWARDS|1ST PLACE| EXTRAORDINARY AWARDS|2nd Place| LITWITS AWARDS|2nd place| MIDNIGHT AWARDS|2nd place| GRAMMAR AWARDS|Finalist| TRIDENTS AWARDS|Runner Up|
