Her eyes held me captive. They were the brightest blue that held so much kindness and warmth. Her hair was a warm brown that flowed in waves down her back. She was beautiful. Too beautiful to be human. My eyes traveled to her back. That's when I saw a pair of glowing white wings. I was doomed. I was face to face with something that I am meant to destroy. Something kind, beautiful, warm, happy, and bright. I was face to face with Life. My name is Death. I fell in love with Life. Life. Death. Polar opposites. Never meant to combine. What happens when light meet dark, when Heaven meets Hell, when Life meets Death? Who will win? Darkness or light? Heaven or Hell? Life or Death? Maybe they will destroy each other and the world ceases to exist. But what if Death falls in love with Life? Will he destroy her, let her destroy him, let them destroy each other, or find a way to earn her love? Death is unpredictable. Remember that.

In another world and another time, something unthinkable happened--an Angel who guarded the young and innocent fell in love with a king of Vampires. They had to meet in secret, as their love was forbidden by all the laws of their world. All the while, their love grew stronger and stronger... But then, one day, the Angel was found out. She was told that, if she was to stay with her love, she would have to give up her wings. And she happily did--she gave up her wings and left Heaven. It seemed that her joy with her Vampire love would only increase--shortly afterward, she found out she was with child. The two were very happy and were wed soon after. But their joy was short-lived. When the Angel went into labor, she swiftly fell very ill. In a panic, the King offered his blood. But she refused. After their baby, a daughter, was born, the Angel died. What none could have predicted, though, was that the daughter would have an incredible gift. Because Order can only last for so long. Eventually, the powers of Chaos will have their say...
