Bucky spits blood from his mouth, turning to weakly smile at me. "You shouldn't have come." His blue eyes shine with regret. "This isn't a place for a Doll like you to die."

"Good thing we're not going to die then, yes?"

Emma Jane Holmes claims that Bucky Barnes was the greatest gentleman in all of Brooklyn. And he was... before the war.

Bucky being drafted completely uprooted Emma's way of life. Her job as a teacher, her relationship with Bucky, and being a sister-figure to Bucky's little sister, Rose, and his best friend, Steve Rogers. Everything was perfect until he was drafted into the Army.

Soon after, Steve meets the German scientist Dr. Abraham Erskine who promises Steve the ability to make a difference for America, but everyone knows the story of Captain America. No one was told the tale of his female counterpart: Lady Liberty.
