Esmeralda was an average 18 year old girl living in Guadalajara. After her father unexpectedly dies, Her life gets turned upside down. She is forced to cross the border along with her mother and her younger brother. They take a plane to Tijuana and have to walk the rest of the way. They face many obstacles as they walk through the Desert in hopes of making it to the states.
